Clara Abou Samra is the Program Manager of the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the American University of Beirut and an Instructor of Public Health in the Department of Health Management and Policy. A recognized expert in health and social system strengthening, Clara has extensive experience supporting ministries, UN agencies, and NGOs in developing evidence-informed policies and advancing strategic health initiatives. Her work spans evidence-based policy development, stakeholder engagement, performance optimization, and digital health transformation. She has authored over 30 policy briefs and led critical national and global projects in health data and emergency management. Clara holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from AUB, and is widely respected for her leadership in health systems reform and knowledge translation.
